Land Conserved in Split Rock Wildway

One of our partners in the Split Rock Wildway effort, Champlain Area Trails (CATS), completed an important conservation deal in early March 2013. As a result, an additional 99 acres within the Split Rock Wildway are now protected.

“In order to protect biological biodiversity, the habitat needs to be protected. This land purchase is a key piece of connectivity,” said Chris Maron, executive director of CATS.

We congratulate CATS for completing this project and applaud the protection of these strategic parcels of land.
