Tom Butler to Give Keynote Address

SUNY-Plattsburgh and Clinton Community College are co-hosting a series of public lectures and events to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act. Please join Tom Butler, president of Northeast Wilderness Trust, as he delivers a keynote address and slideshow on “Wilderness for the 21st Century: Spiritual Resource and Arena of Evolution.”

In this richly illustrated lecture, Tom Butler will describe the evolving arguments for wilderness protection in American conservation history, and offer a vision for rewilding the landscape and human communities in the coming century and beyond.
