Our Hunting Program

Northeast Wilderness Trust allows hunting (with some restrictions) on many of its preserves with permission.  The permission process is quick, easy, and all online.  If you are unable to complete the online process for any reason you may also call the office at (802) 224-1000 and request a paper copy of our hunting regulations and permission.  When requesting paper copies please do so at least 3 weeks prior your planned hunting trip to allow sufficient processing time.

Permission is granted by state:

Maine

The Alder Stream Preserve (Atkinson, Charleston, Dover-Foxcroft, Milo, and Orneville, ME)

New Hampshire

The Binney Hill Preserve (New Ipswich, NH)

Vermont

We don’t own any preserves in VT yet, but you can make a donation to help us get there faster!

New York

The Split Rock Wildway (Essex, NY)

Massachusetts

We don’t own any preserves in MA yet, but you can make a donation to help us get there faster!

Connecticut

We don’t own any preserves that allow hunting in CT yet, but you can make a donation to help us get there faster!
